Art is a field that touches our life at every point and is integrated with all of our activities. Art plays a very important role in every persons life. It offers a healthy and happy life.

It is believed that by born each and every person in this world are, more or less gifted with some creative sense, that lies deep inside our soul. The main purpose of Relate Art Department is to use that creative sense of a person in deferent sectors to produce special crafts, which we use in our daily life. Also The related Art Department has taken the responsibility to create a skilled person who will be capable of making world class products. That will surely get good market in home and abroad.
The theoretical part of the subject also contains the history of art, detail study of different artists etc. To make this subject more effective, a multidisciplinary course has been chalked out which includes physical science, social science, environmental management, house planning with interior and exterior decoration, fashion designing, marketing etc.

Students having B. Sc. (Hons) and M. S. degree, first of all are expected to become a good human being, because Art is not only a subject that gives knowledge to produce some special products, but also, it refers and describe the manner in which any activity can be performed nicely. Also the students can use their knowledge and skill in different sectors, such as- designer, maker and merchandiser of clothing, jewellery, jute craft, wooden craft, pottery, interior decoration etc. furthermore those who are not engaged in any professional work, they can also use their knowledge and skill in producing different products for their family, friends and relatives. Thus they can save money and though not doing any job, they can still contribute economically in their family.

For self employment and female entrepreneurship the subject Related Art is not only appropriate for the students of Bangladesh but also is an important discipline of education for global demand.
