The philosophy of Resource Management and Entrepreneurship conceives the idea that a collaborative and participatory management style is essential to make our living meaningful and comfortable. This style of management involves everyone in defining goals and objectives that can foster participation in and commitment to the family as well as to the whole nation. To make this subject more effective a multidisciplinary course has been chalked out which includes Physical science, Social science, Environmental management, House Planning with Interior and Exterior Design, Business Administration and Home Economics.

Objectives:-
I. To provide the students a clear concept of management theory and its application in home and family life. II. To enable the students to cope with changing world with collaborative and participatory management style. III. To provide necessary knowledge about management of housing needs, house planning with interior and exterior design. IV. To enhance the capabilities of student in the field of different management studies such as human resource management, project management etc. V. To prov ide effective knowledge on management of the environment. VI. To prepare the students eligible for research work and all types of management oriented activities.
Career opportunity:- A student having B. Sc. (Hons) & M. S. degree in Resource Management and Entrepreneurship is capable to improve the quality of life while enhancing the environment that sustains us all. The syllabus is designed in such a way that it gives everyone a practical way to develop a clear, focused vision for future, and enables to plan how to get there in the most economically, environmentally and socially sound way. So it does not matter whether a student should choose a certain profession or not, but door for major professional areas are opened to them. Among them Education, NGO, Business, Administration, Environment based Organization, Design and Interior Decoration Intuition and Research can be mentioned in particular.
